Zorica Dawn Haywood, 58, of Jacksonville, and formerly of California, passed away peacefully on, Aug. 29, 2016, surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 27, 1958, in Yugoslavia, the daughter of Rudy and Helen Sretic Milicevic. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Holly) Fox; two grandchildren, Dawson and Rian, all of California; her "little sis," Lorin; and brother-in-law, Miguel Mijes, both of Chicago; and a host of special nieces and nephews. Her mother preceded her in death. Zorica relocated from California to Greenfield and later settled in Jacksonville, which she called home for the past 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with her babies, Sam, Tina, Lillie and Mimi. They brought her happiness and her love for her animals was tremendous. From dogs, cats, squirrels and llamas, she loved them all. More than anything, she loved spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed her travels, exploring new places, and a good cup of Starbucks. She was truly an extraordinary person with her love, loyalty, kindness and the ability to make anyone laugh and smile. She was a social butterfly and always made time for her loved ones. When she would call you "sweetie" or "darlin," it made you feel so special. In her final days she was truly touched by the love and support of her family and friends who surrounded her. She said, "Sweetie, when the time comes, I am ready because I have lived an amazing life full of love and happiness." Zorica Dawn was a beautiful soul taken too soon. A private Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at her home. Memorials are suggested to PAWS or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and may be given in care of Williamson Funeral Home. Condolences may be left online at airsman-hires.com.
