YVONNE HOUSTON Yvonne Patricia Houston, 53, passed away peacefully Oct. 14, 2016, surrounded by her family, in Las Vegas. Yvonne was born Sept. 5, 1963, in Boise, Idaho, to Frank Cano and Patricia Winifred Steedon. Yvonne was a 52-year resident of Las Vegas. She was a graduate of Western High school and worked as a dental assistant for 20 years. Yvonne and Darrin met at the LDS singles ward and were later married in the St. George temple Jan. 6, 1989. Through her life, this elect woman fulfilled her callings as a wife, mother, aunt and friend with love, grace, elegance and class. Yvonne loved to travel and spend time with her family. She was a wonderfully generous person. She was always willing to do whatever was needed to help her loved ones and her church family. Yvonne loved her family, adored her dogs and will be greatly missed by all that have known and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Patricia; three children, Darrin Clark, Kaleena Patricia and Azarae Arlene; her father-in-law, Florian Houston; along with her second family, Russ and Colleen Aiken. She is survived by her loving husband, Darrin; three children, Marissa, BrookLynn and Remington; mother-in-law, Betty Houston; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Judy Houston, Bob and Lisa McIntyre, and George and Pam Browne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, who all love her. Viewing will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21. Viewing again 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, with service following at 11 a.m., all at the Tule Springs Stake Center, 7500 Tule Springs Road, Las Vegas.
