In memory of
Yuselfeian Howard
Yuselfeian Howard Dec. 26, 1972 - Oct. 3, 2016 SOUTH BEND - Yuselfeian (“Selfie”) Tineese Howard, age 43, of South Bend, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 3, 2016. She was born December 26, 1972, in Buchanan, Michigan, and was raised by her loving and caring mother, Bernestine Freeman. Her earthly father, Curtis Freeman, who loved and raised her, preceded her in death. Yuselfeian accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age; she was a licensed CNA and worked in healthcare. She loved her profession because it gave her the pleasure of serving people in their time of recovery. She enjoyed making her patients smile and uplifted their lives with encouraging words. Her greatest joy of all was her love for her children and family. Her children and parents meant the world to her and she treated everyone as family. She has been called “sister,” “auntie,” “mom” and “cousin” by many because of the love that she generated. Yuselfeian loved to cook and play dress up with her daughters but decorating was her true passion; she also had a great love of taking care of homeless animals. Yuselfeian leaves to cherish in her memory her mother, Bernestine Freeman (Dale Williams) of South Bend, Indiana; a brother, Curtis Tyrone Freeman Jr. of Chicago, Illinois; five children: DeAndre Moseley of South Bend, Indiana, Desaraee Coleman of Hinesville, Georgia, Domenicke Howard, Paige Taylor and Armun Howard of South Bend, Indiana. Two grandchildren: Christopher Robinson and Amira Moseley of South Bend, Indiana. Four aunts: Samella Harper-Jones of Buchanan, Michigan, Bobbie Mae Black of Texarkana, Texas, Dorothy Ellis of South Bend, Indiana, Janice Miller of Nashville, Tennessee, an uncle, Leethalbert Jones of Buchanan, Michigan; godmother, Elaine Woods of Mishawaka, Indiana; a special friend, Forest Lamar of South Bend, Indiana; also, her sister/cousin, Natalya Hill of Indianapolis, Indiana; favorite cousin, Stephan Tinsley of South Bend, Indiana; and special cousin, Kenya Harper of Atlanta, Georgia; along with a host of family, godsiblings and friends.
