In memory of
Winfred Moss age 90, of Uniontown, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 in Pebble Creek Nursing Home. Winfred was born June 9, 1926 in Hendersonville, N.C. to Palmer Doc and Lela (Rhodes) Moss. Mr. Moss was a WW II Army Veteran and retired from Firestone Rubber Company where he was a tire builder for 42 years. He was a member of The Chapel in Marlboro where he taught Sunday School and had also taught Sunday School at Arlington Baptist Church and Hope United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Karen Moss of Uniontown; grandson, Curtis (Jennifer) Moss; sister-in-law Florence Crawford of Tallmadge; nieces; nephews; and his faithful companion, his Dalmatian dog Ariel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Moss in 1986; sisters, Lois Moss, Lillian Fish, Alma Merrell and Agnes Freeman; brothers, Ronald, Eieland, and Wytt. Calling Hours will be Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Funeral Services will be Thursday 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating.
