Gaffney, S.C. - Winford "Wink" Lamont McCraw, 80, of 172 Boiling Springs Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Millie Phillips Garner McCraw and first married to the late Wanza Wilson McCraw and the son of the late Ede McCraw and Junie Blanton McCraw. He was a United States Army Veteran, retired from Duke Power and was an avid NASCAR fan, especially Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. and enjoyed gardening. Mr. McCraw was a member of Grassy Pond Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, also surviving are two daughters, Pam McCraw Sarratt and Tina McCraw, both of Gaffney; two stepsons, Phillip Garner and wife, Luz of Goose Creek and Eric Garner and wife, Kelly of Wake Forest, N.C.; a step-daughter, Denise Coffey and husband, Gary of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, Andrew Garner, Chris Kietzman, Cynthia Racz and Sally Stremlow; five great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Molly Hoeffner of Gaffney. Mr. McCraw was preceded in death by five brothers, Luther McCraw, Bill McCraw, J.M. McCraw, Manuel Mc- Craw and Marvin Jack McCraw; and three sisters, Eloise Skinner, Louise Jenkins and Frances Brown. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Grassy Pond Baptist Church with Dr. Terry Lanford, Reverend Johnny Bridges and Mr. Eric Garner officiating. Private interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the residence.
