William Perry Stultz II
William Perry Stultz II went to be with the Lord April 17, 2017 at Worsack House at the Virginia Retirement Center, Harrisonburg, VA. He was born June 9, 1929 in Takoma Park, MD and was the son of Robert F. and Edith (DuBois) Stultz. In his early years he lived in Falls Church and graduated from Fairfax High School. He entered the Navy at the end of WWII and served in the Pacific. He graduated from Wheaton College (Illinois) in 1954. Bill was an engineer. He worked for Electronic Dynamic Balancing Company of Hillside, IL. He served as an elder at Lombard Gospel Church in Lombard, IL. After moving to Virginia, he was a part of Harvest Church. During his retirement years he volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and for Wycliffe Bible Translators. Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Darlene Nelson Stultz; four children, Becky Kipps (Bruce) of New Market, VA, Ruth Hernandez (Michael) of Aurora, IL, Dan Stultz (Sharon) of West Chicago, IL, and Dawn Martin (Paul) of Santa Rosa, CA; grandchildren, Anna Kipps Lawrence (Jimmy), Elizabeth Kipps, Andrew Kipps, Melinda Anderson (Ryan), Elisa Hernandez, Ben Stultz, Isaac Stultz, Sam Martin, Jesse Martin, Joanna Martin and Simon Martin; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Slusher Pierce and a grandson, Jacob Martin. A burial service will be held in St. Luke Cemetery in Woodstock at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20. A memorial service will be held in the Strite Auditorium at the Virginia Mennonite Retirement Center at 6:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Steven Landis and Pastor Bruce Kipps officiating.
