William Kraustok, 90, of Butler passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital with his wife by his side. He was born April 3, 1927, in Lyndora, to the late Gregory Kraustok and Pearl Dinitruk Kraustok. Mr. Kraustok was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, having served in World War II. He worked for Pullman Standard before retiring July 31, 1982. William enjoyed golfing, collecting antiques and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Dorothea M. Dietrich Kraustok, who he married June 21, 1963; a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; a number of nieces and nephews; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. KRAUSTOK - Friends of William Kraustok, who died Thursday, April 13, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at theThompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Brandon Watkiss, William's nephew, from the Englewood Church of Independence, Mo., officiating. Burial will take place at the Butler County Memorial Park. Officers and members of the American Legion Post 117 Butler, the American Legion Post 778 Lyndora and the VFW Post 249 Butler, will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
