William V. Keselich
William V. Keselich, 84, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017. He was born Aug. 13, 1932, in Cowansburg, a son of the late Peter and Rose Podufaly Keselich. Prior to retirement, he worked as a postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service. He also was an independent contractor truck driver. He was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Vincent Basilica Parish, Latrobe, Shindle Lodge No. 601 of Irwin and was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Daniel Keselich. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carole Reeder Keselich; five children, William Michael Keselich, of North Huntingdon, Cynthia Kalanja and her husband, Robert, of Trafford, Dale M. Klamut and his wife, Kimberly, of Ellicott City, Md., David Klamut and his wife, Lisa, of Latrobe, and Jeffrey Klamut and his wife, Joanne, of Ardara; grandchildren, Cassie and Chera Keselich, Robert Kalanja and Emily, Elizabeth Augustine and Jon, Stephanie Wissinger and Ian, Hunter, Brett, Alexis and Luke Klamut; two great-grandchildren, Carly and Dylan Wissinger; two sisters, Rosemarie Ridl, of Atlanta, Ga., and Patricia Krisner and her husband, James, of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Vincent Basilica, 300 Fraser Purchase Road, Latrobe, with Father Paul Shutt as celebrant. Inurnment with military rites accorded by the Jeannette Combined Veterans will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery. MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., in charge of arrangements.
