In memory of
Wilfred 'Wilf' Adams passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 12, 2017. He was born March 1, 1926 in North Battleford, Canada. He was wed to his wife, Irene, in December 1946 and they celebrated their 70th anniversary in December 2016. During WWII, Wilf served in the Canadian army, and saw action throughout Europe. The family later moved to San Jose, California where Wilf pursued a career with IBM which lasted for 30 years. The couple moved to Boulder, CO in 1965 where they found a lasting faith community in First Presbyterian Church of Boulder. During retirement, Wilf and Irene were able to travel through Europe, Mexico, and the Holy Land. During his time in Boulder, Wilf was active in IBM Quarter Century, First Presbyterian Work crew, civil air patrol, as well as a stamp club. He was also able to pursue multiple interests such as photography, woodworking, and automobiles. Wilf is survived by his wife, Irene, their four children: Douglas and wife Susan, Judy and husband Roger, Calvin and wife Jane, and David and wife Jackie; as well as his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His warm presence and caring spirit will be missed by all. Wilf's life will be celebrated at the First Presbyterian Church in Boulder, CO on Thursday February 16, 2017 at 2pm.
