Wayne Edward Hauser June 02, 1936 - Jan. 09, 2017 Visalia Wayne Edward Hauser was the first child born to Frances and Frank Hauser on June 2, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois. The family moved to Faribault, Minn., where Wayne went through school. He served in the Army and then went to college, graduating from the University of Minnesota While at the university he was invited to attend a meeting with Billy Graham as speaker. He made a life changing decision that day to follow the Lord. Upon graduation from University of Minnesota, he worked for the Red Cross. In 1965 Wayne entered Bethel Theological Seminary with plans to go into the Gospel Ministry. In 1968 Wayne was working at the Billy Graham Headquarters. There he met Jane Anderson. Romance quickly bloomed. He graduated from the Seminary in 1969, he and Jane were married in August and he had his first Sunday as pastor of Blomkest Baptist Church on Sept. 14, 1969. They served in three churches, two in Minnesota and one in Exeter, CA at First Baptist Church. In 1986 the Lord led Wayne into work as a social worker in Child Protective Services of Tulare County. He retired in 2007. Wayne passed away in his sleep in the early afternoon of Jan. 9, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Jane Hauser, of 47 years and their only child, their beloved son Clifford Wayne Hauser, and a sister, Mary Beth Leyland of Charlotte, NC. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 1PM at Creighton Memorial Chapel, 1588 Lincoln Street, Kingsburg, CA 93631 with a burial following at the Kingsburg Cemetery.
