In memory of
Wanda Slimak, 102, the beloved heart of our family, passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home on Good Friday, April 14, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Slimak, her parents, Walter and Cecelia Kwasnicki, and dearest brother, Stanley and sister, Jeanette. She will be missed so very much and live in the hearts of her four daughters, Dorothy (Edward) Sitkiewicz, Geri (Roy) Kliss, Carole Kedzie, Christine (James) Bukovec, her treasured grandchildren, Edward (Mari), James (Laurie), Michael (Diane), Mary (John) and Darren, her dearest great-grandchildren Sioned, Bryn, Tyler, Trevor, Blake (Tanda), Brooke (Mikel), her precious great-greatgrandaughter, Farrah, and many nieces and nephews. After raising her family, Wanda enjoyed bowling, cards, traveling, but more than anything her greatest joy in life was being together with her family. She really looked forward to seeing everyone to celebrate a special occasion or holiday. Our hearts will always cherish those sweet times and wonderful memories. We are so very grateful to all the wonderful, caring caregiving angels at the Village of Victory Lakes where our mom was living for almost 6 years. Thank you all for your love and devotion which we appreciated more than words can say. Rest in peace dear Mumsie. We will hug you in our hearts always until we meet again in heaven, XOXO. Visitation Saturday, April 22, from 9-11 AM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago. Funeral service will begin at 11 AM at the funeral home.
