Wanda D. LaMattina North Arlington great-grandmother, 96 Wanda D. LaMattina (nee Romanowski), 96, died on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at the Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus, N.J. The funeral will be held at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, N.J., on Friday, Oct. 21, at 9 a.m., thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment is at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. Born in Newark, N.J., Wanda lived in North Arlington, N.J., since 1951. Before retiring in 1985, she worked as an assistant for Walter Kidde in Belleville, N.J. Earlier, she worked as a shop steward for R.C.A. in Harrison, N.J. Wanda was the beloved wife of the late Joseph LaMattina; the devoted mother of Janice Greenfield, Phyllis LaMattina, Cheryl Hoch, and the late Patricia Turoczi; the cherished grandmother of eight; the adored great-grandmother of six, and the dear sister of Helen Wrubel.
