Finn, Wanda 10/26/1926 - 9/26/2016 Saline, MI Died September 26, 2016. She was born October 26, 1926, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Ellis and Agnes Hartley King. Wanda was very proud of her Pittsburgh roots. On April 9, 1955, she married Charles Edd Finn, who predeceased her in 1982. Mrs. Finn was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Ann Arbor for over 54 years. She was a faithful choir member for around 50 years. Wanda was involved in the Blood Program of the American Red Cross, both as a volunteer worker and blood donor for many years. She loved music, travel, reading, people, animals and the color purple. Wanda was a huge Pittsburgh Steeler fan. She was a kind and loving person, who valued her precious family and friends. Surviving are one son, Charles Arthur and his wife Sally; three grandsons: Geoffrey (wife Rachel) Jacob and Ryan; great grandson Benjamin Bear, her only sister, Marilyn King Telling; many loving nieces and nephews; her Dietrich cousins; and her sweet cat, Merlin. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church, Ann Arbor, Michigan. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Contributions may be made to the church, the Humane Society of Huron Valley, or to a charity of your choice and envelopes will be available at the church.
