In memory of
Wanda Faye Colbert
Wanda Faye Colbert Wanda Faye Colbert, born October 4, 1940, entered into eternal life on February 2, 2017. Her spirit is carried on by her family, son James Kevin Jackson, his wife Tammy and their children Tamara and Tracy, daughter Robin L Headdy and her son Jordan Headdy, brother Jackie Ray Clay and his wife, Jo Ann Clay, as well as an extended family of friends & relatives. Wanda is reunited with her husband, Eugene Colbert, parents Arlie Ray & Alpha Geraldine Clay, her brother, Thomas Edward Clay, & her sweet, tiny poodle, Muffin. Wanda was born and raised in West Virginia and moved to Pensacola Florida in the early 1980's. Wanda loved her family, and enjoyed gardening, as well as her exercise routine, from her days with Jack LaLannne on tv, to more recently, her water aerobics. She was a very good cook and enjoyed making special surprises for people on their special occasions. Wanda loved Christmastime, especially decorating and gift giving. She was a wonderful gift giver and rarely missed the mark on the perfect personal touch with her surprises. She had a special gift of calming a crying baby, which was a joy to watch. Wanda was a member of Blue Angel Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed the fellowship and being involved in church functions. Wanda will be missed and never forgotten, by all who knew & loved her. She had many earthly angels that helped out in so many different ways and we would like to thank them. Thank you for every special thing you did; Grant, Vona Jean, Teresa, Julie, Robin, Dad & Joan and Jo Ann. Joan, from Emerald Coast Hospice has an amazing gift of hugs and patience! We love and appreciate all of you! There will be an open house celebration of Wanda's life on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 1 pm to 4 pm at 1658 Ora Drive, Pensacola, Florida 32506. Lunch will be provided. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to your charity of choice in her honor. Express your condolences in our guestbook at pnj.com/obits
