Froehlich, Walter Albert 81 Mar. 25, 1935 Sept. 26, 2016 Walter Albert Froehlich was the only son of Frieda and Julius Froehlich. They fled Nazi Germany when he was a toddler, and as a family made their way to Portland. Walter was a hard working man with a strong love for his family, friends, and strong ties to the Jewish community. He also enjoyed architecture, football, good wine and fine food. He believed in family first, as a loving husband and father. He married his high school sweetheart, Elinore Pearlman Froehlich, who preceded him in death. His second wife, Evelyn Moscow, also preceded him in death. He succumbed to Parkinson's Disease and learned to live with the disease for many years before it took over his body. He died in peace at the Robison Jewish Health Center. He is survived by his daughter Deanne Froehlich and son-in-law Barry Pullen.
