Viviane B. Clyne
Viviane Clyne Viviane B. Clyne, nee Peeters, 73, of Swansea, Ill., born December 30, 1942, in Brussels, Belgium, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at St. Paul's Home, Belleville, Ill. Mrs. Clyne was a high school teacher in her native Brussels, Belgium. She later worked as the business manager in her husband's medical office for more than 30 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and volunteered for many years at the schools her children attended. She enjoyed teaching French and coaching speech teams. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill. Viviane was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Dr. Julius Clyne, whom she married on April 4, 1964, and who died on January 13, 2013; and her parents, Auguste and Lisette A., nee Van Gele, Peeters. Surviving are two daughters, Nathalie M. Clyne of Las Vegas, Nev., and Ilona K. (Michael S.) Cowulich of Swansea, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Christian M. Cowulich and Lauren A. Cowulich, both of Swansea, Ill. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com . Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at St. Henry Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., with Rev. Kenneth York officiating.
