Violet Helen Miller
Violet Helen (Ireson) Miller, 97 of Elverson, PA passed away at home in the warm embrace of her family on February 14, 2017. Born November 10, 1919 in St. Peters Village, Chester County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl M. Ireson, Sr. and Lillian (McElroy) Ireson. She was the wife of the late L. Paul Miller, Sr. of whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Violet was a woman of boundless energy and a work-ethic that was unmatched by anyone. She worked until she was 92, and drove until she was 93 years old. She was treasured by all the people she worked for and became an important part of their families. She would help anyone who asked, and would expect nothing in return. Violet was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be sorely missed by her family and all the people that her loving spirit touched throughout her life. She is survived by a son, L. Paul Miller, Jr. of Elverson, PA. with whom she resided; daughter, Janet M. Weidman of Douglassville, PA; 2 sisters, LaRue Bressler of Morgantown, PA and Betty Mourar of Rosemont, PA; 2 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. Violet was welcomed into the loving arms of those family members that predeceased her; daughter, Dr. Beverly A. Miller, Ph.D.; son-in-law, J. Richard “Pastor Rich” Weidman; brothers, Elwood Ireson, Earl M. Ireson, Jr., and Harry Ireson. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 followed by a Memorial Service starting at 10:30 AM at the Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. 144 N. Spruce Street Birdsboro, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Violet’s name to ASPCA. https://www.aspca.org
