Vincenza A. Lentoni
Vincenza A. Angie (Speranza) Lentoni, age 89, of Framingham, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham. She was the wife of 70 years to Enrico Lentoni of Framingham. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Francesca (Giacomarra) Speranza. Angie worked as a receptionist for many years for the Chrysler Corporation. She also worked for the former N.E. Telephone and Telegraph and the former Cavagni Bakery in Framingham. Mrs. Lentoni volunteered at Barbieri Elementary School in Framingham reading to the students and at Bethany in Framingham working with the deaf community. She also served as a warden for the Town of Framingham during voting days. Mrs. Lentoni was a member of the Red Hat Ladies of Sudbury. She was very creative and enjoyed ceramics, knitting and quilting and she even learned to tap dance at the age of 77. Besides her husband Enrico, she is survived by her children, Gregg Lentoni and his wife Pam of Hopkinton, and Susan Barss of Framingham; three grandchildren, Marissa and Kathryn Lentoni both of Hopkinton and Gia Barss-Tetreault and her husband Chris of Worcester. She is also survived by her siblings Josephine Faini, Mary Rinaldo and Jane Tucci and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frances Palanzi, Robert, John, William and Tommy Speranza. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 17 at 10 AM at St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley Street, Framingham. Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Ave.), will be Monday from 3 | 6 PM.
