In memory of
Valeria Naumovitz, 83, of Dickson City, died Sunday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She is survived by her husband, Leo Naumovitz. They would have celebrated 61 years of marriage in May. Born in Dickson City, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Strzalka Grabiec and was a member of St. Adalbert's Polish National Catholic Church, Dickson City. She was a graduate of Dickson City High School and had been employed by Borgnecht Dress and RCA Corp. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her family to Florida and the Jersey Shore. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and teaching them how to crochet. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Also surviving are five children, Carol Hubicki and husband, Joseph, Baltimore,; Robert Naumovitz, Laurel, Md.; Joseph Naumovitz and wife, Elke, Lebanon, N.J.; John Naumovitz and wife, Kim, Midland, Mich.; and Mary Ann Naumovitz, Dickson City; grandchildren, Christian and Alexa Hubicki, Anna Naumovitz and fiancé, Dwight Brillembourg; Stefanie Haines and husband, Richard; Timothy, Jennifer, Heather, Sarah and Joshua Naumovitz; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours.
