Thomas J. Sublousky
Thomas J. Sublousky, 76, of Frackville, passed away Wednesday evening at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Schuylkill Haven, with his sister by his side. Born in Pottsville, July 9, 1940, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna Wassell Sublousky. He was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Class of 1958, and worked in the electronic component department for Western Electric Co., and retired from Alcatel-Lucent Co. He was a veteran of the Army, having served in Germany. Thomas was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church and the Frackville Senior Citizens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Misunas Sublousky, in 2008, to whom he was married for 40 years. He is survived by two sisters, Helen Stefanick and husband, Joseph, Brigantine, N.J., and Alice Snyder and husband, Kermit, Deer Lake; two brothers, John Sublousky, San Antonio, Texas, and George Sublousky, New Philadelphia; a sister-in-law; Arlene Noyalas and her husband, Robert, Frackville; nieces and nephews. Panaheda services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Divine Liturgy with burial service will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, with the Rev. Petro Zvarych as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday with Parastas at 7 p.m. and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday. Interment will be in St. Michael's Parish Cemetery, Englewood/Frackville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Thomas' name to St. Michael's Memorial fund, 243 S.
