Thomas Daniel Shore Loving family man, business owner, Army 1st lieutenant Thomas Daniel Shore, resident of Buck Hills Falls, Pa., and formerly of Hillsborough, N.J., passed away in Freiburg, Germany on Oct. 5, 2016. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. at Mary Mother of God Roman Catholic Church, 157 South Triangle Road, Hillsborough 08844. Visitations will be on Monday, Oct. 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 US Highway 206, Hillsborough. Interment will follow at Rocky Hill Cemetery. Born and raised in Queens, N.Y., the son of Bernard Shore and Helen A. Kelly, Thomas attended Immaculate Conception School, Queens, N.Y., Xavier High School, New York City, and graduated with a B.A. from Georgetown University. He was a 1st lieutenant in the U.S. Army and Reserve. Thomas was founder of Alarmtronics, Inc. of Flemington, N.J., and continued as a director of the company until his passing. He was a member and past president of the Flemington Lions Club and recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. He was a loving husband of Catherine Meyer and father to Thomas, Michael, Christopher, Robert, and Catherine Shore Hoffman. He is also survived by son-in-law, Russell Hoffman, and daughters-in-law, Barbara Kaiser and Sandra Morrow, and grandchildren, Christopher Hoffman, Jacquelyn Hoffman, Alexandra Shore, Thomas Hoffman, Helena Shore, and Norah Shore. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Thomas Shore may be made to Xavier High School, 30 West 16th St., New York, N.Y. 10011.
