In memory of
Thomas Wayne Osbon born October 2, 1961 in Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2016 at the age of 55 after a long hard fought battle with a rare form of cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife Cindy Mathews-Osbon, his children Tommy Osbon, Nicky Osbon and Dale Osbon, step-son Doug Rice and step-grand-daughter Elocin Rice. Tom was preceded in death by his Father, Wayne Osbon and Step-Father John Haney. Tom is also survived by his mother Linda Aston Haney, brothers Bryan Osbon (Vicky), David Osbon (Pam) and sisters Barbara Forbes (Sean) and Linda Bost. (Bill) and his extended family Patsy Guise, Bill Mathews, Eva Tax, Wade Mathews (Vicky), Jamie, Phil Jennifer, Chad, Julie, Scott, and Sarah. Tom also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Tom loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing, reading, on-line racing and was an avid Nascar and Football Fan. Tom was known a guy who could repair just about anything mechanical or electrical. Until his illness prevented it - Tom was employed for over 10 years at SAIC as an Integration Manager in the defense industry. Tom loved his children, Tommy, Nicky and Dale and was grateful he survived long enough to see them grow to become fine young men. Tom will be dearly missed and will live forever in the hearts of those who loved him. The family greatly appreciates the compassionate care and support provided by Hospice of Washington County, particularly nurse Lynn. In lieu of flowers considering making a donation in Tom's name to Hospice of Washington County Maryland or your local Hospice organization.
