Theresa M. Ledoux
Theresa M. Ledoux (Langevin), 88, wife of the late Roger Ledoux, died peacefully with her family by her side on March 12, 2017 at Valerie Manor in Torrington. Theresa was born October 28, 1928 in Bristol, CT., daughter of the late Wilfred and Laura (Meville) Langevin. She and her husband resided in Meriden for most of their married life prior to living with their daughter and her husband for several years. In her active years, she and her husband enjoyed dancing, spontaneous weekend trips, bus trips, clamming in Rhode Island and spending time at the shore. Theresa suffered many years with Parkinson's Disease. She endured with grace and dignity to the end throughout the challenges presented her. Theresa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and sister whose independence, feisty personality, and spirit to overcome will forever be remembered by family, friends, and all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Kristina Nurnberg and her husband Ron of Harwinton, a sister, Laurene Doucette and her husband Claude of Bristol, a brother Wilfred Langevin and his wife Irene of Bristol, and several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by a brother, Francis Langevin who resided in Florida. A memorial service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Special thanks to the staff of Countryside Manor of Bristol for the care and love extended to Theresa for the last several years prior to her relocation to Valerie Manor. Many thanks to the staff of Valerie Manor and Athena Hospice for the compassion and support provided to Theresa and her daughter during her final days.
