Theresa Lea (Roy) Kullmann of Fitchburg; 88 FITCHBURG -- Theresa Lea (Roy) Kullmann, 88, passed away Tuesday, February 7. Theresa was born March 31, 1928 in Gardner, the daughter of Edmond and Oreanna (Fleurant) Roy. She attended Holy Rosary School in Gardner and later went to work at Independant Lock and finished her working career at Seth Thomas. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Friendship Club. Among traveling, dancing, and card playing her greatest pleasure was her family. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Kenneth Kullmann, Sr. Theresa is survived by her son Kenneth Kullmann, Jr. of Enfield, CT., a grandson Keith Kullmann of Mason, NH, a granddaughter Kristen Kullmann of Fitchburg, a brother Jean and his wife Priscilla Roy of Gardner, sisters-in-law Edith Roy of Athol, Phyllis DiConza and Millie Delbove both of Leominster, a special niece Janet Davis of Gardner and many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed dearly. KULLMANN -- A funeral service will be held at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg at 1:00 pm Monday, February 20. A visitation period will be from 11:30 until the time of the service. Burial will be in the spring. (Rust) Morton of Townsend; 89 TOWNSEND -- Shirley F. (Rust) Morton, 89, of Townsend, passed away peacefully in the Fitchburg Gardens Nursing Home. Shirley was born in Fitchburg on January 31, 1928, a daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Thomas) Rust. She lived in Shirley for many years before moving to Townsend in 1964. For many years, Shirley worked at Cliff's Café until her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; she had such a nurturing spirit and was a foster mom to four children. Shirley was an avid Bingo player and was also a talented seamstress. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves her two daughters, Mary Kerwood and spouse Linda of Townsend, Sheryl Kilbourn and spouse Charles of Townsend; grandchildren, Tara Colardeau, Sarah DiBenedetto, Lisa Rauhala, Kelsey Kilbourn, Erik Rauhala; great- grandchildren, David Rauhala, Connor Crowley, Parker Williams, Ethan Nason, Hunter Nason and Kaysen Rauhala; many nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Leslie Morton, on February 11, 2017; her siblings, Theodore Rust, Jr., Armand Rust, Donald Rust, Gladys Gionet, Nancy Erickson, and Rita Peaslee. She was also predeceased by her great- granddaughter Emery Nason. MORTON -- At Shirley's request funeral services and burial will be held privately.
