Theresa A. (Dupuis) Glenny, 86 Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother LUNENBURG -- Theresa A. (Dupuis) Glenny, 86, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Life Care of Leominster, after a long illness. Her husband, Francis R. Glenny died on October 2, 1996. She leaves three sons, Scott F. Glenny and his wife Susan of Lunenburg and Duane, NY, Brian S. Glenny and his wife Susan Merritt of Yarmouth Port, MA, and Keith P. Glenny and his wife Karen of Ashburnham; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Godin and Cecile Yovino both of Fitchburg; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, Raymond A. Dupuis. Theresa was born in Fitchburg, on March 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Leandre and Rita (Landry) Dupuis. She graduated from Saint Bernard Central Catholic High School in 1948. She worked for GE as an Executive Secretary, and later as the office manager for Glenny's Marine in Lunenburg. Theresa spent most of her life in Lunenburg and was a member of St. Boniface Parish. She enjoyed bowling at Putnam Lanes and was an avid reader, especially enjoying mystery novels. GLENNY -- Theresa's funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at 11:30 am, in the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 763 Mass Avenue, Lunenburg. Burial will follow in the North Cemetery, Holman Street, Lunenburg, MA. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home from 10:00 - 11:30 am prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Theresa's name to the Life Care Center of Leominster, Activity Fund, 370 West Street, Leominster, MA 01453 or to the Summit Health Care, 55 Cinema Drive, Leominster, MA 01453 or may be left at the funeral home.
