Terri Bernard Jaeger, 63, of Rochester, died peacefully Tuesday morning, April 18, 2017. Born Terri Lynn Bernard to Myron Earl Bernard and Beth Marie Manning in Preston, Terri lived her whole life in southeast Minnesota. She graduated from College of St. Theresa in Winona with a degree in nursing, going on to become Nurse Manager at Saint Marys Hospital until 1991 when she retired to care for her growing family. Terri touched the lives of many people and was a dedicated caregiver, mother, wife and friend. Terri died in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and easy laugh, and her love of coffee in the morning, walks around the neighborhood, and lifelong learning. Terri is survived by her parents, Myron and Beth; her brothers, Mike, Matt, Donni, Mark, Jason and Jeff; her sisters, Debbie and Donna; her husband, Tom; her sons, Lou, Jon, Zach and Sam; and her granddaughter, Madeline. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marybeth. Her visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, April 21, at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at the same location. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory can be given to either Quarry Hill Nature Center or the Dorothy Day House of Rochester.
