Teresa (Ricci) Napolitano
NAPOLITANO, TERESA (RICCI) 89, passed away April 10, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Tomasso and Mariatonia (Petrocelli) Ricci. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Napolitano. They were married for 55 years. She was the mother of Michael T. Napolitano, former Mayor and municipal court judge of Cranston and his wife Anne, Paul S. Napolitano and his wife Elizabeth; grandmother of Katherine, Michael, Joseph and Logan Napolitano; sister of Rose Bonaminio, Elsie Fascia and the late Sr. Anna Ricci, Adeline Bernardino, Mary Cartone, Edith Palmisciano and Alfred, Carl, Joseph and Vincent Ricci. She worked at various jewelry firms as a foot press operator and at Romano's jewelry for many years. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church and the DaVinci Center in Providence. Teresa was devoted to her family and loved her husband, sons and grandchildren dearly. She was an excellent cook and a wonderful housewife. She was a religious woman, was kind to everyone she met and would give the shirt off her back to a stranger. Visitation will be held Monday, 4-8 p.m. with her funeral on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
