T. BRUCE "TUSH" JOHNSON
GRAYSLAKE - Visitation for T. Bruce "Tush" Johnson is 10-11 am Saturday April 22, 2017 at the Community Protestant Church, 418 N. Prairie Ave., Mundelein. Funeral service will begin at 11 AM followed by Military Funeral Honors. He was born July 7, 1931 at Condell Memorial Hospital in Libertyville and passed away April 16, 2017. He was raised in Diamond Lake and attended Libertyville High School. Tush was a three sport athlete and was the proud recipient of the "Newsom Award" which was given to the most valuable senior athlete. He enjoyed his luncheons with his class of '49 buddies and hitting the links every Sunday either physically or on TV. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Bruce served in the Air Force during the Korean War and he devoted 32 years working for Pepsi Cola General Bottlers Inc. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Alberta "Bea" Johnson, children David Johnson, Steven (Karen) Johnson, Linda (Chuck) Gandolfi and Susan (Tom) Frew and 9 beautiful and loving grandchildren. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Wallace Johnson and Alice Francis (O'Brien) Johnson and his two brothers, Tin and Top.
