Susan M. Hentzel
Susan M. Hentzel Susan Marie (Sandefer) Hentzel, 50, of Philadelphia, formerly of Lansford, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Oct. 9, in the Roxborough Memorial Hospital, Philadelphia. She was a physical therapist assistant for many medical rehabilitation companies throughout the area. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Pamela (Davis) Sandefer. She was a 1984 graduate of Panther Valley High School, where she was a class officer and member of the National Honor Society and the track team. She then went on to further her education and graduated with an associate's degree as a physical therapist assistant from Penn State University in 1988. Susan loved riding and taking care of horses. Surviving are a sister, Marci Jo, wife of Harry Sipler of Weatherly; two brothers, Todd Sandefer, and his wife, Angela, of McAdoo, and Scott Sandefer, and his wife, Margaret, of Lehighton; and many nieces and nephews. Service: Memorial service 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning. Call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
