Blizman, Susan Susan Blizman (Kadetsky) of Madison, NH gracefully passed away on October 5, 2016, surrounded by her family and dearest friends. She was an Artist, Lover, Teacher and Mother. All her life, Susie's sweet spirit, generous heart, and creative outlook reached many. From kissing booboos, to editing yearbook layouts, soldering jewelry, or crafting Ukranian Easter eggs, everything Susie did was with the utmost love, patience, and attention to detail. After graduating from the Massachusetts College of Art, she attended Michigan State University where she met Joe, the love of her life, and earned a graduate degree. Eventually, they settled down in Bethel, CT where they lived for many years and raised their two children. Before retiring to the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, Susie taught painting, jewelry, stained glass, and drawing at Westhill High School in Stamford, CT; she inspired and encouraged others to follow their passion and love of art. Susie was a fighter and truly her own woman. She always stood up for what she believed. Her strength and persistence helped her battle pancreatic cancer for 9 months before she passed. She is survived by her children William and Molly, daughter-in-law Bobbie, son-in-law Adam, and Joseph, her loving husband. The Blizman family would like to thank Susan's amazing friends, as well as the dedicated doctors and nurses who treated her at Massachusetts General Hospital and Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT. "Remember I'll always be true, And then while I'm away, I'll write home every day, And I'll send all my loving to you" "Susie in the sky with Diamonds"
