Blake, Sue Sue passed away peacefully at the age of 61 on February 11, 2017. She was born on September 1, 1955 in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was raised in Fairfield, Connecticut. She graduated from Ludlow High School in Fairfield in 1973. Sue initially attended the University of Hartford before transferring to UMass Amherset, where she graduated in 1973 with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. After graduation, Sue joined the executive development program at Lord and Taylor in New York City and worked in various men's buying assignments. Later, she joined Orbach's Department Store, also in New York until she moved to Florida, where she continued to work in the fashion industry. Sue retired and moved back to New York City prior to the birth of her first daughter, Elizabeth (Liz) in 1987. In 1989, she moved to Short Hills, New Jersey, where she has lived ever since. She had her second daughter, Jessica, in 1991. Sue always considered it her greatest joy in life that she was able to stay home and raise her daughters. Sue was very active in her community, socially and philanthropically. Sue especially enjoyed playing tennis with her friends. She was a member of Orange Lawn Tennis Club and West Orange Tennis Club. Sue was predeceased by her father Milton Cohn, her mother Edith Cohn and brother Robert Cohn. She is survived by friend and former husband Brian Blake, their two children Elizabeth Blake and Jessica Blake, her aunt Marjo Woudhuysen, nieces Jill Cohn Hall, her husband Jason Hall and Sara Cohn, nephew Daniel Cohn and many cousins. She was also a very proud grandmother to her two french bulldog grandpups, Oliver and Ella. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
