Stanley E. Szydlik
KITTERY POINT, Maine - Stanley E. Szydlik passed away peacefully on Thursday April 13, 2017, at the age of 71. He was born on October 11, 1945, in Southbridge, Mass., the son of the late Edward and Emily (Raczynski) Szydlik. He was a graduate of Southbridge High school, Quinsigamond Community College, Leland Powers School of Radio, Theatre and Television and a U.S Navy veteran. Stan was employed at the American Optical Company in Southbridge, Mass., before becoming a radio announcer. Stan worked at stations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire until his retirement in 2008. His life will be forever cherished in the lives of his wife, Janet Clauser; his daughter, Sherry Lombardi, her husband Steve and grandchildren Jordan and Jake; stepsons, Michael and David Hanson and stepdaughter, Jacqueline Hanson; and sisters, Shirley Lorkiewicz and Dorothy Lesniewski. Stan also leaves his nieces, Kristen Lesniewski, Carrie Barnes and her family and his nephew, Matthew Lesniewski and his family.
