Shirley Louise Tillery Young
Shirley Louise Tillery Young of Sparkman, also known as "Sugar", passed away January 5, 2017 at her home. She was born August 15, 1945, at her home on Hwy 84 in Malvern to the late Clifton Cecil and Effie Marie Dunkin Bozeman. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Tillery; three children, Michael Shayne Blakely, Wydena Marie Tillery and Tina Marie Blakely; grandson, Jacee Alan Dyer; siblings, Charles Richard Bozeman, Harold Dean Bozeman, Deloris Lillian Talley and Earlene DeLassio. Survivors include her son, James Cody "Bill" Tillery and Mari of Owensville, Arkansas; daughter, Shannon Louise Pennington and Bart of Sparkman; sisters, Margaret Ann Burris of Sparkman and Marilyn Stone of Glen Rose; six grandchildren, Michael Shane Burris whom she raised, Sarena Kaye Crowe, Abby Dawn Sutton, Cody Ray Dyer, Stephanie Brooke Masey and Casey Ann Tillery; four great grandchildren, Landon Ray Dyer, Levi Jace Dyer, Haddle Brynn Masey, and Travis James Tillery Tackett. Visitation will be Monday, January 9 from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 10 at 11:00am in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Rick Merryman officiating. Pallbearers will be Tyler Mantooth, Mark Morrissey, Devon Bennett, Alex Coney, Alex Diaz and Buddy Robbins. Burial will be in Lower Antioch Cemetery. Arrangements by Regency Funeral Home.
