Shirley was born on April 25, 1951 and passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017. Shirley was a resident of Statesboro, Georgia at the time of passing. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. This beautiful and inspiring woman will be honored with a celebration of life on Tuesday, January 10 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Joiner- Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro, Georgia with Pastor Jon Edmisten officiating. Interment will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Garrett Banks, Austin Edwards, Michael Iler, Cory Strickland, Robert Strickland and Alfred Banks, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Knight and Jesse Knight.
