Shirley A. (Steeno) Marinan
Marinan, Shirley A. (Steeno) Shirley A. (Steeno) Marinan, 78, of Green Bay, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed peacefully in the company of family on Oct 14, 2016. Shirley was born in Duck Creek to Alfred and Lillian (Dionne) Steeno. She was the youngest of eight children and graduated from Green Bay West High School. An active member of St. Patrick's Parish for many years, she sang in the choir, helped raise funds for the church, cooked for funerals and other events, and taught religion classes. Shirley had a beautiful singing voice and would sing for friends and family, even up until the day she died. She loved spending time with her family, and of course, cheering for the Green Bay Packers. She is survived by her children, Kelly Marinan, Katharine Marinan (Diane), Patricia Clark (Bill), Tracy Youmans (Dan), Mark Marinan (Jeff), Kerry Marinan (Cori), Cory Marinan (Jody); her grandchildren, Kaliecia Smith, Jeremiah Thyrion, Mitchell and Shane Youmans, and also Aoife, Meara, Finn and Owen Marinan; three great-grandchildren, Evangeline, Zona and Sly; brothers, Linus and Fremen; sisters, Eunice Lawniczak, Marcie Kramer; her sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews; and too many friends to list at the Ft. Howard Apartments. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Marinan; an infant son; her grandson Joshua Marinan; her parents; and siblings: Wilbur, Donald and Joyce. Friends may call at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple Ave., from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday. The Memorial Mass will be held at 12 p.m. Monday at the church.
