In memory of
Shirley King
Our Lord gently brought home Shirley Louise (DeLine) Denny King, age 90. Born 9 June 1926 to Mary Louise (Brisson) and Jesse Wellington DeLine, Shirley graduated from St. Anthony of Padua H.S. and was a certified theater Projectionist. After WWII she worked at Cook-Logan Photography Studio until 1962 and the family's move to Fayetteville. The King and Cook families partnered to open the Manlius Cinema in the late 1960's. She was communicant at Immaculate Conception of Fayetteville and supported many charities. Shirley was predeceased by husband James Sr., son Kevin, and grandson Jared. She is survived by sons Michael (Wendi) Denny, James Jr (Marilyn), Russell, and daughter Rita (Gary) Scheirer; grandsons James III and Jon King, and James, Karl and Jesse (Shasta) Lantz; great granddaughter Rylie; and a very loving, supportive extended family. To all she was their "Mimi". You can honor her by exploring your own personal relationship to God in whatever form/religion you choose. In lieu of flowers, Shirley wished all to have a drink of their choice in her honor. To that end an Irish wake will commence at Noon this Sunday Oct 23rd at the Blarney Stone, 314 Avery Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204. To express sympathy, please visit dewittmemorial.com . Date of Death: October 17, 2016
