JASPER — Shirley A. Kelley, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016. She was born and raised in Chattanooga, by Charles and Leona Watson. She was a graduate of Howard High School. After marrying James E. Kelly, of the U.S. Army, she traveled and raised four children, Sharon A. Hutchins, Carolyn Patrick, Geraldine Keely Cleveland and James E. Kelly. Shirley was a faithful member of First Missionary Baptist of Bridgeport, Ala. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, two brothers and two children. Survivors included two daughters, Sharon and Carolyn; two sisters, Carrie and Charlotte; adopted daughter, Molly, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. at Advantage Funeral Home & Cremation Services. All food and flowers should go to the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1724 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
