Sharon L. Otvos, was an angel on earth who went home to a better place on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016. She can finally fly with the other angels that have shared their time in our world. This tribute is to an exceptional woman who never met a person whom she didn't love or care about. She was born in Lansing, Mich., in 1947, to Wanda and Sherman Curtis. She leaves a daughter, Teresa; and a son, Curtis, to carry on her legacy of loving, caring and sharing. She also leaves a sister, Coleen; and many grandchildren. Her co-workers and friends all share her life of cooperation, compassion and caring for others! Her husband Randy will deeply miss the fine lady, woman, companion and wife, who made him a better person. Thank you for all the understanding and mentoring you gave to enable me to enjoy and share life's pleasures. A service to celebrate her life and legacy will be conducted at 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, in the funeral home chapel. The family will gather with friends on Monday, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga-Memo: Women's Oncology Fund, 1270 Market Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402 or email email@example.com. Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services; 4506 Hixson Pike. 423-531-3975. This obituary was originally published in the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
