We are saddened to announce the passing of the Matriarch of our family, Sharon Glover, 73, who went to be with her Heavenly Father Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at St. George Catholic Church, 825 Karnes, Fort Worth. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary/Visitation: 6 p.m. Monday, April 17, at Mount Olivet. Sharon Glover was born on March 6, 1944, in Fort Worth to Jonathan Simmons and Lula Grace Bowell Simmons. She married Prentice Glover on Feb. 16, 1962, in Fort Worth. Sharon and Prentice enjoyed 55 years of marriage with three beautiful daughters, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Her unique spirit will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Sharon was a longtime member of St. George Catholic Church where she was very involved. She retired from the Machinist Union after 27 years of service. Sharon loved to travel. She has visited all 50 states and has had four European vacations. Sharon loved the Lord, being involved with charity, shopping, baking, puzzles, a good book, and playing games. We will miss our loving, outgoing, spirited wife, mom, and granny. We know that she is in heaven enjoying Easter with her Heavenly Father. Survivors: Sharon is survived by her husband of 55 years, Prentice Glover; her three daughters, Carolyn Weatherly, Laura Hess and her husband, James, and Cecilia Neufeldt and her husband, Tyler; her nine grandchildren, Elaine Wheeler and her husband, Clifton, Amanda Reyes, Brandon, Mallory, and Katie Hess, Seth, Tanner, Jake, and Sarah Neufeldt; and her three great-grandchildren, Lillie and Leila Reyes and Brianna Wheeler. ...
