Sharon Ann Carmack 74, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully Thursday October 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 15, 1942 to the late Harry and Ann Devine. She graduated from Manual High School in 1960 and married Robert Carmack in 1964. She retired from Lane Bryant in 1996. Sharon dedicated her life to her family and had a passion for helping others. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, writing, crafts and shopping. More than anything, she cherished time spent with family and friends including playing games with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Connie Carmack, Robert Michael (Chea) Carmack, Jennifer (Jeremy) Brilliant; grandchildren John Strunk, Kristin (Chris) Mumby, Zack Carmack, Abby Carmack, Jacob Brilliant, Joshua Brilliant; great grandchild Nathan Mumby; siblings Charles Devine, Susan Dunnam and Barbara Carney. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Carmack in 2014 and brothers Donald Devine and James Devine.
