In memory of
Sharon Lynn Beinlich
Beinlich, Sharon Lynn 53 Mar. 06, 1963 Oct. 02, 2016 Sharon Lynn Beinlich, 53, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, Oct. 2nd, 2016, surrounded by friends and family. She passed after a courageous two year battle against a rare cancer. She is survived by her adoring husband, Brian; loving son, Mason; and faithful brothers, Michael and Loran (Troy) Stockwell. Sharon was born March 6, 1963 in Phoenix, Ariz. to Robert Edward Stockwell and Susan Lee Reed. Her family moved to Woodland, Wash. in 1975, where she graduated from Woodland High School. She returned to Phoenix, then moved back to Portland in 1991 and married Brian in 1995. Their son Mason was born in 1999. Sharon loved gardening and cooking. For many years she raised and canned fruits and vegetables from her garden, and she was well known for her fabulous meals prepared with fresh, organic produce. She was an avid fitness and nutrition enthusiast and had planned to make a career in nutrition. She loved music, walking, camping, full moons, and the outdoors. But Sharon's main occupation was as Mason's mother. She volunteered extensively at Childpeace Montessori, where Mason attended elementary and middle school. She was a team mom and scorekeeper at his baseball games, becoming an avid baseball fan in the process. Sharon made friends and touched lives wherever she went. She will be remembered for her sparkling laugh, her ability to be a true friend, and her tremendous strength, courage, and optimism in the face of her illness. She was taken from us far too soon, and she will be greatly missed by many. But her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her and loved her. A celebration of her life is planned for family and close friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation or the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Tualatin Valley Funeral Alternatives in Hillsboro is entrusted with the arrangements. 503-693-7965
