Scott A. Hredocik
Scott A. Hredocik, 49, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, at Excela Health Westmoreland. He was born April 8, 1967, in Culver City, Calif., a son of Sondra Rost Hredocik Dugan and the late Larry A. Hredocik. Scott was a machinist, a Gulf War veteran, having served with the Marines, and a 1985 graduate of Norwin Senior High School. He enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to all music especially Christian rock. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan, loved animals, dancing and had a wonderful sense of humor. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Dugan. He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Veronica Hredocik; siblings, Kimberly Bartko, Jeffrey Forbes and his wife, Hanna, Melissa Hredocik, Kristofer Rainey, Tara Rainey (Jimmy), Robert Dugan Jr. and his wife, Corie, Debby Forbes, Anita Stoner and her husband, Jay; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor David Hixson officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
