In memory of
Sarah M. Blanchard
Sarah M. Blanchard LOWPOINT - Sarah M. Blanchard, 22, of Lowpoint, IL, passed away at 2:25 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017, in a car accident. She was born on April 4, 1994, in Peoria, IL, to Scott J. and Tammy L. (Huser) Blanchard. Surviving are her parents of Lowpoint; sister, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Blanchard of Lowpoint; brother, Jaymie (Tanya) Blanchard of Cazenovia; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Huser of Metamora; paternal grandparents, Terry (Shirley) Blanchard of Westfield, IL; future fiancé, Kevin Kennedy of Bloomington; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Virginia "Ginny" Huser. Sarah was a manager and fashion consultant at Lane Bryant. She was a member of Great Oaks Community Church in Germantown Hills. While Sarah leaves her beloved ones behind, she also leaves behind a legacy. Sarah was a genuine Christian. Every soul who met her, knew of her passionate love for Jesus. Her mission in life was to bring glory to God and turn every heart to our Savior, especially nurturing already formed relationships to that end. She had a special talent for learning and teaching and used it to assist Christians in their walk. She loved exploring God's Word and revealing it to everyone she knew. The best way to honor her life would be to discover God, form and grow a relationship with Him, and discover His Word, which she loved. She would be so honored, humbled, and glad to know her death brought others to Christ and especially God's love, knowing she can see you again in Heaven. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017, at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel, with Pastor Dan Baker officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m., and also one hour prior to her service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Great Oaks Community Church Kids Town, 515 State Route 116, Germantown Hills, IL 61548. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com .
