In memory of
Sandra R. Kulpa EWING TOWNSHIP Sandra R. Kulpa, 60, of Ewing, NJ, passed away on the evening of Feb. 13, 2017, with her loving daughter and husband by her side. She was born to Gloria and George Rinz of Hopewell, NJ, on Oct. 24, 1956. After graduating from Hopewell Valley Central HS, Sandra had an early career working in the printing industry at places such as Minute Press and the NJHA. She later moved on to a 22-year career at Shop Rite in Pennington, where she created beautiful fruit and vegetable arrangements. Sandra had a number of passions in her life, but none was greater than being a supportive wife and mother to her family. She was an outstanding cook and took great pride in her recipes and in continuing family traditions that she could pass on to her daughter. She also had a love of music, needlepoint and cross-stitch. The family has fond memories of her spending an entire year custom stitching a shirt for, none other than, Bruce Springsteen. One evening, after a show in Princeton, Sandra had the opportunity to meet and personally present the shirt to Bruce himself. Sandra had a smile and a laugh that was unforgettable. Her kindness and thoughtfulness surpassed all around her. She possessed the type of humor and joy that lit up a room and her heart was even bigger than her smile. Sandra is survived by her husband, Mike Kulpa, and her daughter, Alexandra Kulpa; her sister, Deborah Koeppel; niece, Dana Koeppel, and nephews, Derek Koeppel and Lucas Rinz. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, especially her Aunt Joanne Atoeff and Cousin Harry Tinsman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at St. Alphonsus RC Church, 54 East Prospect St., Hopewell. The interment will be private. Arrangements are by the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington. Condolences are welcome at www.wilsonapple.com . Wilson-Apple Funeral Home 2560 Pennington Rd.
