Sandra Ann "Sandy" Cranford
JULY 20, 1946 - APRIL 8, 2017 CMSgt. Sandra Ann "Sandy" Cranford, USAF (Ret.) passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Voyd and Madelyn (Gardner) Cranford and her brother, Jerry Cranford. Sandy is survived by her loving spouse, Teresa Williams; her sister, Linda Depue and her husband, Gary; and many friends. Sandy served 29 years in the USAF achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. In addition, she worked for Fiserv in IT and project management. Sandy was a kind; and generous person who gave 150% to any endeavor. She was passionate about her volunteer work at SAMMC, where she worked in the patient library; and the Briscoe Western Art Museum, where she was a docent. Sandy was an avid fan and charter ticketholder of the San Antonio Stars. She will be greatly missed by her family, many friends, and volunteer community. SERVICES Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, April 21, 2017; with the Service to follow at 12:30 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandy's memory may be made to the Center for the Intrepid or the Heart of Texas SPCA.
