Samuel J. Yannello
Yannello (Iannello), Samuel Joseph Phoenix, AZ: At age 54, Sam was called home to his Lord and Savior and is now resting in peace. Sam studied biochemistry at Northern Arizona University and had a rich employment history. He particularly loved the entertainment industry and his time working for Aaron Spelling Productions in Hollywood, CA. One of his accomplishments which he was most proud of was graduating from the American Red Cross Disaster Respondent Training Program, where he committed his free time volunteering in Rochester during local weather and fire emergencies. He is known by his family and friends as a unique individual with a passion for life. His infectious smile and crazy stories will never be forgotten. "Sam I Am" Sam is survived his mother, Mary Joyce Van Hout (Fortunato-Gillette) and his step-mother Nancy Yannello; brothers and sisters, Sherie (Scott) Laraby, Shannon Shafer, Patricia Yannello, Theresa Gentile, Roni-Sue (Rob) Hall, Lisa(Brian) Doerr, Victoria (Frank) Record, Stephen Gillette, Troy (Hilliary) Van Hout; brother-in-law, Sully Gentile; and special friends Bill and Sharon Webster; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Sam is predeceased by his father Samuel Yannello; his stepfather Ronald Van Hout; his grandparents Richard and Angie Fortunato; and his grandmother Claudia Rybicki. A Celebration of Sam's Life will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, at 10am at Cross Creek Church, 3700 NY-31, Palmyra, NY, with a reception to follow at the Moose Lodge, 3808 NY-31, Palmyra, NY.
