Ruth Tetreau Lentner, 79, of Findlay, Ohio, formerly of Midland, known as "The Dancer" at her retirement community, died in Christ on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2016 in Findlay. She was born in Mount Clemens, daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (O'Brien) O'Donnell. Ruth was a graduate of St. Stephen's High School in Port Huron. She was married to James Tetreau, April 12, 1958 and he preceded her in death Nov. 16, 1991. She then married Robert Lentner, Nov. 27, 1993 and he preceded her in death July 13, 2011. While living in Midland, Ruth had been a member of Sweet Adelines and served as secretary of the Michigan Chapter of Huntington's Disease Society of America. She had been employed as a receptionist for Dr. Larry Jackson and then business manager for several other dentists in Midland. She later worked at Curves. Ruth had been active in Al-Anon and was a former member of Blessed Sacrament Church and Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland and later attended Gateway Church in Findlay. Her hobbies included the enjoyment of conversation, music, dancing, water-color painting and being with children. Surviving are her daughter, Jeanne (Tom) Snyder of Findlay and now Grand Rapids; son, Patrick (Shelley) Tetreau of Whitmore Lake; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friends. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jennette Tetreau, Dec. 22, 1958; son, Robert Tetreau, July 17, 2001; and infant grandson, Ryan Snyder, April 14, 1983. Ruth was the baby sister to her late siblings, P.J., Harriette, Francis, Katie, and Mike who lovingly referred to her as "Ruthie" or "Tootie." Private graveside services with Pastor Michael Barnhart officiating have taken place in the Midland Cemetery.
