Ruth Marion JANNETTO
JANNETTO, Ruth Marion Born 96 years ago on January 11, 1921 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and died peacefully on February 5, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona and is awaiting resurrection. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Helen Petta; brothers, Frank Jr. and Harold, sister, Eleanor and husband of 55 years John Jannetto. Ruth is survived by her children, Susan and John (Eleni); grandchildren, Jon, Amy-Susan, Abram, Alexandra and John and great-grandchildren, Steven, Norina, Javier and Diego and many nieces and nephews throughout the country. Ruth moved to Tucson in 1951 and was an avid tennis player, hiker, traveler, reader and collector of books, chauffeur, volunteer and executive secretary. She made the best meatballs and a mean lemon meringue pie. Ruth loved her family and will be greatly missed by family and friends but her spirit and sense of humor will continue to live on with all of those who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank all of those who visited and cared for Ruth with special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Sunrise Senior Living, Casa de la Luz and John Dougherty, M. D.
