MORRISON, Royal Bradley "Brad" Passed away April 7,2017 after a four-year battle with COPD and emphysema. He was born on June 18, 1948, to George A. and Viola F. Morrison, in Spokane WA. Brad attended North Central High School and entered the United States Army in 1968 and served until 1972. While in the army he served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. After a brief stay in Colorado Springs, CO, he returned to Spokane where he met the love of his life Victoria K. Kalous. They were happily married for 41 years, and had four children and many "adopted" children. Brad worked for the Spokane County Assessor's office for 28 years as a land appraiser. He also had spent a short time with The Spokesman-Review as a complaint driver, delivering the newspaper those who had been missed. Brad relished life and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing card games with his family and never missed a game of pinochle, hearts, or Uno. Brad was preceded in death by his parents, brother George, sisters Jean and Janet, and his beloved son BJ. He is survived by his wife Vicki, sons Nicholas and Joy Morrison, George and Kassi Morrison and Pat Lowry; daughters Aleisha Morrison and Carrie-Anne Gallagher. He is also survived by his sister Jerrie Alarie, five grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, and life-long friends Nancy Aquino and Joe and Donna Casey. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Hennessey Funeral Home-Division. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 1:00 pm at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, followed by interment at Fairmount Memorial Park.
