Rosemary A. (Brazis) Jackson-Frantz
Mass of Christian Burial for Rosemary A. (Brazis) Jackson-Frantz, 78, of Aurora, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 342 South Chillicothe Road, Aurora. The Rev. James Daprile will officiate at the Mass. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Please meet directly at the Church on Friday. Mrs. Jackson-Frantz passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Euclid Hospital. Born March 15, 1938 in Cleveland, she was a longtime Eastlake resident before moving to Aurora seven years ago. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and a former member of Saint Justin Martyr Church in Eastlake. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. Mrs. Jackson-Frantz was employed at Volk Optical in Eastlake before her retirement. Survivors are her children, Cathy Pawlus of Clarksville, TN, Terry Jackson of Euclid and Jim (Sharon) Jackson of Fairfax, VA; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Joan (Duberly) Mazuelos of Fort Lauderdale, FL. She also leaves her son-in-law, Louis Barbish of Reminderville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Frantz; daughter, Carol Barbish; grandson, Louie Barbish; and sister, Sister Catherine Brazis, SND. Private family burial will be in All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the Sisters of Notre Dame, 13000 Auburn Road, Chardon, OH 44024.
